Suikoden Side Story: Chapter 4A few weeks of walking around the vast fields of the Gouran Area eventually brought us to Kaku, where other members of the liberation army were said to be hiding out. Upon arrival this little town looked very similar to the other towns we had already visited in this region, they seemed to carry quite a peaceful atmosphere, but it was as if there was some underlying unrest. When I mentioned this to Humphrey he related it to the current situation with the Scarlet Moon Empire, and the corruption that had become of it and its lands.

My gamestation position was a temporary Christmas one, so I'm unemployed again. Nonetheless I have somehow managed to send myself on two holidays this summer (although I'm not actually paying for both of them). The first of which lasts from May 19th to June 3rd when I'll be visiting the South of Australia. The second is from July 1st to July 12th, where I'll be in Germany and also France and Switzerland for a bit. Should be fun. As such though, I haven't been looking for much in the way of employment recently as it would be difficult I imagine, if in the interview I had to explain that I would be taking nearly four weeks holiday within the first few months of starting.

After Summer, I hope to be returning to College again. {excitement}!

I've been reading your stories about Xeres. Very nice. I'm particularly curious what the deal with his mother was, if you ever explained it then I must have missed it. While I don't like Teiravon's staff, I will say it was probably the best role playing experience I have ever had.

I had a kind of idea about his mother, but I never wrote it down or anything. I basically thought that she had become some kind of undead monster, a victim of experiments at the hands of Xeres' father and grandfather; that the family had some kind of patriarchal hierarchy.

I'm really glad you enjoyed my writing. I have attempted to find other role playing experiences, but nothing has been quite as good as when I played Xeres Grim.
